Project Description : Previous studies report no statistical difference in patient satisfaction when controlled for physician's assigned gender. However, other literature suggests female physicians, more than their male counterparts, routinely establish a more patient-centered care. Despite the vital role of implicit bias in the healthcare setting, there is little research done on this subject matter. The current project strives to fill this gap in the literature by studying simulated patient feedback of medical students in the context of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
