Project Description : Dexmedetomidine is utilized for sedation in pediatric patients undergoing diverse surgical procedures. Midazolam is also indicated for sedation in pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures, mainly due to its safety profile. The purpose of this review is to compare the use of dexmedetomidine and midazolam for sedation in pediatric patients.
